We are expanding our operating days and hours to accommodate requests we've had from customers. We will now be open Wednesday - Saturday, with extended hours on Thursday. Here's the new schedule:

Sunday - Tuesday -- closed

Wednesday 10:00am - 4:00pm

Thursday 10:00am - 6:00pm

Friday & Saturday -- 10:00am - 4:00pm

We are now open at our new location -- 1711 Lake Murray Blvd -- at the Eagle One Storage and U Haul facility. It's about halfway between I-26 Exit 102A and Lake Murray. Look for the large waving "Storage" and "Furniture" signs by the road.

Several of you have asked why we moved from Broad River.

This new set-up gives us a retail space that helps customers better scale items to fit their homes, as well as a significant warehouse space for our home staging business. The space was once a preschool and later an antiques mall that is familiar to many people in the area.

We have completely renovated the front retail space and are in the process of renovating what had been the gymnasium into a high-bay warehouse and retail space. Temporary exterior and street signage is in place, and we hope to have permanent signs installed in the coming weeks.

In the final phase of our renovation, we will convert the former first floor classrooms into room displays with an industrial flair and use the second floor classrooms for our design center and offices. It will take us several months to complete the process, but we are making progress week by week.

Our new store location -- 1711 Lake Murray Blvd. -- will open this Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 10:00am. Located at the Eagle One storage facility, the new store allows us to combine the retail and warehouse spaces needed for our retail furniture, home decor and home staging businesses.

I want to apologize to all of you who've had trouble figuring out where we are and when we're open. I'll address that first, and then give the back story.

Where we are and when we're open...

We are now located back at our store location -- 7740 Broad River Road in Irmo.

We have changed our operating days and hours.

We are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10am - 4pm.

We also have a Pop-up Sale on the second Friday and Saturday of every month 10am - 6pm.

If you need us at another time, we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

Now the back story...

2020 has been quite the year for all of us. We signed a contract to sell the Broad River Road property in 2019 and closed the store on January 4th, 2020. We had another property under contract that we planned to renovate. We moved everything from the store to a new temporary warehouse location in Lexington and began having Second Saturday sales there in February.

Then COVID-19 hit. Three days before we were supposed to finalize sale of the Irmo property in April, the buyer called and backed out of the deal due to the pandemic. So we began moving inventory back to Broad River Road, and opening on a limited basis.

It has been quite the effort to re-stock the store, help customers and serve home builders staging model homes during the pandemic. Inventory has been in extremely short supply because so many factories have been closed and are still operating well below capacity due to COVID-19. We have appreciated all of your patience and understanding as we feel our way through this time.

Effective September 1st, we are no longer accepting consignments. Our business is evolving, and consignments now require a disproportionate amount of staff time, floor space and overhead in order to provide high quality, marketable items. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes, and are working to better serve all of our customers. We hope that you will consider supporting other local consignment businesses. We will continue to have an eclectic mix of furniture and home decor selections, and are expanding our ability to custom-order pieces from several manufacturers.
